It was incorporated in August 1897 and had been one of the 100 oldest private golf clubs in the country as of August 2009.[1][2] Among some of the club's original officers was George Gill Green, a patent medicine entrepreneur, who served as Vice President.[2] Due to the economy, the golf club was no longer able to sustain operations and went into foreclosure in 2010. Notes{{note|a|a}} The golf course is described as being nine holes, but it actually has 13 different greens to shoot to.References1. ^{{cite web |title = About |publisher =Woodbury Country Club |year =2005 |url =http://www.woodburycountryclub.org/about/index.htm |accessdate = August 21, 2009}} 2. ^1 {{cite web |title =History |publisher =Woodbury Country Club |year = 2005|url =http://www.woodburycountryclub.org/about/history.htm |accessdate = August 21, 2009}} External links{{Portal|Philadelphia|New Jersey}}
