It is also possible to send files for conversion by emailing them to Zamzar.[5] User privilege levelsZamzar is currently free to use. However, users can pay a monthly subscription in order to access preferential features, such as online file management, shorter response and queuing times and other benefits.[6] Legal issuesCurrently, Zamzar is able to download and convert videos from a large number of video sharing websites – however, on 12 June 2012, it stopped providing support for downloading videos from YouTube after receiving a cease and desist order from Google's legal department.[7] Naming etymologyIts name comes from Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis.
