释义 |
Saint Amasius of Teano ({{lang-it|Amasio di Teano}}) (d. 356) was the second bishop of Teano in Italy. He was forced into exile from the east, probably Greece, as a result of his opposition to the Arian heresy. Pope Julius II invited him to preach in Campania. He was later expelled from Sora, again because of the Arians, after which he was appointed bishop of Teano in 346 in succession to Saint Paris. He died in 356 of natural causes.[1] The feast day of Amasius is 23 January. References1. ^http://saints.sqpn.com/saint-amasius-of-teano/ accessed April 25, 2012 Sources and external links
