This was Linda Darnell's second film. Day-Time Wife was the first of four films that Darnell and Power made together over the next few years, Brigham Young (1940), The Mark of Zorro (1940), Blood and Sand (1941).[2] Synopsis{{Expand section|date=February 2012}}Jane (Linda Darnell) comes to believe her husband Ken (Tyrone Power) is having an extramarital affair with his secretary Kitty (Wendy Barrie). To give him a taste of his own medicine, Jane secretly takes a job as secretary to womanizing architect Bernard Dexter (Warren William), who, as it turns out, and unbeknownst to Jane, has a business relationship with Ken.[3] Cast
