She is a journalist and has been a television host on many different TV channels in Pakistan.[1] Gharidah has worked with Pakistan Television Network (PTV), ATV, Dunya TV, Geo News, Samaa TV (in 2012)[2] and is currently (in 2017) a Senior Anchor Person at Express News. Gharidah Farooqi has hosted current affairs TV program "G for Gharidah" (جي فار غريده) since 2015.[3][3] In September 2015, Gharida Farooqi interviewed Rana Sanaullah Khan, Law Minister in the provincial government of Punjab, Pakistan on her TV show G for Gharida.[4] She is in news for her secret marriage with for Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and she admitted it. She refuses her London video scandal for which she was criticized throughout Pakistan. She became famous after when few people misbehaved with her in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf gathering in Multan.
