He obtained a general pardon on 15 October 1471.{{sfn|Richardson IV|2011|pp=318-19}}{{sfn|Cokayne|1916|pp=153-4}} Marriage and issueHe married, before 10 June 1451, Katherine Hungerford (d. 12 May 1493), daughter of Robert Hungerford, 2nd Baron Hungerford, of Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and Margaret Botreaux, daughter of William de Botreaux, 3rd Baron Botreaux, of Boscastle, Cornwall, by whom he had six sons and three daughters:{{sfn|Richardson IV|2011|pp=318-19}}{{sfn|Cokayne|1916|pp=153-4}}
