词条 | Holy Redeemer College |
释义 |
Despite its name, "college" does not represent the modern educational definition but rather the more classical definition. Here, "college" is related to the Latin word collegium, meaning "collection", which is often used in the Catholic Church. In early 2015, plans were announced to add 41 rowhouses to the property that will be located to the north and south of the current building (which will remain).[3] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Religious Residences Available in D.C.|url=https://www.johnpaulii.edu/student-life/campus-living/religious-residences|website=Pontifical John Paul II Institute at the Catholic University of America|accessdate=13 October 2015}} 2. ^{{cite news|title=Debates Over Development In D.C.’s “Little Rome”|work=The Kojo Nnamdi Show|date= October 13, 2016|url=http://thekojonnamdishow.org/shows/2016-10-13/debates-over-development-in-d-c-s-little-rome|accessdate=3 January 2017}} 3. ^{{cite news|last1=Turner|first1=Lark|title=More Details of the 41 Townhomes Planned for Brookland|url=http://dc.urbanturf.com/articles/blog/more_details_on_the_41_townhomes_planned_for_brookland/9492|accessdate=13 October 2015|agency=Urban Turf|date=February 4, 2015}} External links{{commons category|Holy Redeemer College (Washington, D.C.)}}
