GeographyThe village is located on the road from Uhersko to small town Medenychi. It is situated in the {{convert| 70 |km|mi}} from the regional center Lviv, {{convert| 17 |km|mi}} from the district center Stryi and {{convert| 10 |km|mi}} from Medenychi. History and AttractionsThe first written mention dates back to year 1334.[3] In the village Kavske is preserved ANCIENT RUSS STRENGTHENED SETTLEMENTS 11 —18 centuries (Bych and Yosypovychi).[4] But archaeological excavations have revealed traces of Stone Age settlements (third millennium BC).
