词条 | Wooden chest syndrome |
释义 |
Wooden chest syndrome describes marked muscle rigidity — especially involving the thoracic and abdominal muscles — that is an occasional adverse effect associated with the intravenous administration of lipophilic synthetic opioids such as fentanyl. It can make ventilation difficult, and seems to be reversed by naloxone.[2] Hypoxemia, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, respiratory acidosis and increased intracranial pressure may supervene.[3] One recent study hypothesized that chest wall rigidity might be at least partially responsible for some deaths related to intravenous injection of fentanyl, which increasingly is appearing in samples of heroin.[2] References1. ^{{cite book |last1=Chambers |first1=David |last2=Huang |first2=Christopher |last3=Matthews |first3=Gareth |year=2014 |chapter=Anaesthesia and the Lung |title=Basic Physiology for Anaesthetists |chapter-url=https://books.google.com/books?id=5ma8BQAAQBAJ&pg=PA107&lpg=PA107#v=onepage&q&f=false |edition=illustrated |location=Cambridge |publisher=Cambridge University Press |page=107 |isbn=9781107637825 |access-date=2015-01-31}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Wooden Chest}}{{Disease-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite news |url=http://www.thepoisonreview.com/2016/03/25/is-possible-chest-wall-rigidity-after-illicit-intravenous-fentanyl-administration-clinically-significant/ |title=Is possible chest wall rigidity after illicit intravenous fentanyl administration clinically significant?|last=Gussow|first=Leon|date=March 25, 2016|website=The Poison Review|access-date=2018-04-01}} 3. ^{{cite web |url=https://www.bmj.com/rapid-response/2011/10/27/avoid-fentanyl-induced-wooden-chest-syndrome-emergency-department |title=Fentanyl is not best anaesthetic induction agent in rapid sequence intubation |last=Tanus-Santos |first=Jose Eduardo |date=30 November 1998 |website=The BMJ |access-date=2018-04-01}} 2 : Effects of external causes|Anesthesia |
