Levi Evans is an American academic and roboticist, currently studying at the University of California, Berkeley. Evans attended White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee, where he co-captained FIRST Robotics Team 5045[1] who won their regional FIRST Robotics Championship and advanced to the world championship in 2017. During high school, he also placed third in calculus in the 2017 Tennessee Math Teachers Association (TMTA) competition [2], making him the first student to attend the FIRST world championships and place in the TMTA competition. Furthermore, Evans was known among his high school peers for his tutoring skills [3] and his knowledge of trigonometric identities, queries related to which he has answered on Quora and on other platforms.[4] Previously, he also attended Menwith Hill Middle School in the United Kingdom.
