It is native to Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.[1] In Cambodia it is commonly called Vor Krovan and is reported to be used in cosmetics.[2][3] DescriptionIt is a tree reaching 6 to 7 meters in height. Its leaves are 13 by 3.5 centimeters and come to point at their tip. They are smooth on both surfaces and have wavy edges. Its flowers are pink to dark red, typically solitary and axillary. It has 3 sepals that are 4.8 centimeters long. Its 6 petals are arranged in two rows of 3. It has numerous stamens.
