It is served by Sydney Trains T1 Northern Line services. HistoryThe original Beecroft station opened on 17 September 1886 approximately adjacent to the current Beecroft tennis courts, relocating north to its present site on 7 March 1892.[2][3] The disused down platform was demolished in the early 1990s. A disused dock platform for produce was located to the west of the platform. As part of the North Sydney Freight Corridor project, an electrified passing loop opened to the west of the station in June 2016.[4][5][6][7] Platforms and services{{Sydney Trains platform box|p1linename = T1 |p1stop = to Central via Strathfield & beyond |p1notes = [8] |p2linename = T1 |p2stop = services to Hornsby |p2notes = [8]}} References1. ^{{cite web |author=Bureau of Transport Statistics |url=https://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/media/documents/2017/Train%20Statistics%202014.pdf |title=Train Statistics 2014 |publisher=Transport NSW |accessdate=13 July 2018}} 2. ^Beecroft Station NSWrail.net 3. ^Home Beecroft Cheltenham History Group 4. ^Epping to Thornleigh Third Track Transport for NSW 5. ^Leighton Contractors & TfNSW in Alliance to deliver Epping to Thornleigh Third Track Project Leighton Contractors 8 March 2013 6. ^Leighton & Abigroup win Epping to Thornleigh Third Track contract {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130402222236/http://www.railexpress.com.au/archive/2013/march-2013/march-20-2013/other-top-stories/leighton-and-abigroup-win-epping-to-thornleigh-third-track-contract |date=2 April 2013 }} Rail Express 20 March 2013 7. ^"Northern Sydney Freight Corridor Update" Railway Digest December 2014 pages 28-29 8. ^1 {{Cite New South Wales transport timetables|Northern}} External links
