He was born from Takasaki, Gunma. His older sister Sophia is also a model. BiographyWhile at the Okayama University of Science High School (communication system), he was introduced by his older sister Sophia which triggered his model activities at the magazine MensEGG ("Spring and Summer College Students White Book" corner in June 2003). Appeared as a member of MensEGG models at the planning "Who is Your Husband!?" in the variety show Shabekuri 007 of Nippon TV appearing with Tsubasa Masuwaka on February 2009. Personal lifeHis father is an English conversation lecturer and have conversations with his father in English. Neither himself nor his family knows its origin of his stage name Joy.[5] In junior high school he was selected as a football Gunma Prefecture selection and had experience of participating as a trainee for Arsenal F.C. youth for two weeks at his father's connection of the British,[6] although the future was regarded promising, but the high school first grader sometimes hurt his back and abandoned the path of football. At that time his sister started to work as a model and began to adore.[7] In addition, football continues to be his hobby even now, often appearing in the planning of television programmes such as Honoo-no Taiiku-kai TV.
