The temple is situated near Neelkanth temple, Alwar. HistoryThis temple was built on the 13th day of the dark half of Baisakha in the year VS 979 (922-23 CE) during the reign of Gurjara-Pratihara ruler Mahipala I Deva of Kannauj by the architect was Sarvadeva of Simhapadra according to inscription in the National Museum. Only a colossal {{convert|5.33|m}} statue of Jain Tirthankara Shantinatha remains intact. The idol is built in a Digambara style.
