}}Portway House is a Grade I listed town house in Warminster, Wiltshire, England. [1]

It was rebuilt in 1722 for wealthy clothier Edward Middlecott in Bath stone ashlar. Originally called Newport, the house stands on the site of Newport Manor, once the home of the Mauduit family from the 12th to the 16th centuries.

The main block has a basement and three storeys and is flanked on both sides by two-storey wings. The iron screen across the front of the house is Grade II listed.[2]

It served as a dower house for Longleat from 1820 to 1920, after which it served as a library until 1982. It has since been converted into eight luxury apartments. [3]
