P. Chaudhary (born 12 July 1953) is the Union Minister of State for the Law and Justice and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Prior to that, Chaudhary was the chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Offices of Profit and was also a member of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation and the Standing Committee on Personnel, Committee on Public Grievances, Law and Justice. In both the meeting of CPA, effectively put forward the Indian view point on the issue of Jammu & Kashmir. Provided insurance cover for 1,31,175 (one lakh thirty-one thousand one hundred seventy five) women of Pali Lok Sabha, from his own Parliamentary salary and income (September 2015) Inducted as a minister in Prime Minister Modi's cabinet on 5 July 2016.
