Boot Key is an island in the middle Florida Keys^[1] located adjacent to Key Vaca. Boot Key is within the city limits of Marathon, Florida, United States. The island is largely undeveloped despite having a bridge spanning Boot Key Harbor to Key Vaca, which is now closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.^[2]

Immediately adjacent to Boot Key is a {{convert|38|acre|m2|adj=on}} tract of land from which the United States Government broadcasts Radio Marti.^[3] These broadcasts consist of anti-communist propaganda directed towards residents of Cuba, in an attempt to incite a revolt against the Cuban government. ^[4]

A hawkwatch is conducted every fall on Boot Key.
