Now it is under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Prominent researchers like U. N. Bramhachari, Ronald Ross, Rabindra Nath Chaudhuri,[3] Ram Narayan Chakravarti[4] and Jyoti Bhusan Chatterjea worked in this institute.[5] Notable alumni
