{{Refimprove|date=August 2007}}In Aztec mythology, {{lang|nci|Citlālicue|italic=no}} ({{IPA-nah|sitɬaːˈlikʷe|}}) "star garment"; also {{lang|nci|Citlālinicue|italic=no}} ({{IPA-nah|sitɬaːliˈnikʷe|}}), {{lang|nci|Ilamātēcuhtli|italic=no}} ({{IPA-nah|ilamaːˈteːkʷtɬi}}) was a creator goddess who created the stars along with her husband, {{lang|nci|Citlalatonac|italic=no}}, the Milky Way, Earth, and also death and darkness.[1] This pair of gods are sometimes associated with the first pair of humans, Nata and Nena.[1]

In {{lang|nci|tōnalpōhualli}}, {{lang|nci|Citlālicue|italic=no}} is the Lord of the Day for days that land on the 13th of the month (Nahuatl: {{lang|nci|mahtlactli-omei}}).[1]
