At Liverpool, the road is known at first as Parliament Street. It then becomes Upper Parliament Street, Smithdown Road, Allerton Road, Menlove Avenue, Hillfoot Road, Hillfoot Avenue and Higher Road, before joining Speke Boulevard. It ends in Penketh, Warrington.
