He turned professional in 1998, and retired from racing after the 2009 season. He is now working for Team Sky as a sporting director[1] and will be bringing some of his experience to the racers from inside the team car. At the 2005 UCI world championship road race he finished at 4th which is the best placement ever for a Swedish rider. Major results{{div col|colwidth=30em}}
