Baron Wormser (born 1948 Baltimore, Maryland) is an American poet.[1]

From 2000 to 2006, he served as Poet Laureate of Maine.[2]

In 2000, he was writer in residence at the University of South Dakota.

Since 2002, he has taught in the Stonecoast MFA program at the University of Southern Maine,{{Citation needed|date=May 2016}} and since 2009, Fairfield University.[2][2]

He founded the Frost Place Conference on Poetry and Teaching at The Frost Place in Franconia, New Hampshire[3] and is currently director of educational outreach at the Frost Place. He has lived in Cabot[4] and Montpelier, Vermont.[2]
