The Classic Serial is a strand on BBC Radio 4 in which classics of English literature are adapted into series of one-hour dramas. It is broadcast twice weekly on BBC Radio 4, first from 3:00–4:00 pm on Sunday, then repeated on 9:00–10:00 pm the next Saturday. Works adapted have included The Aeneid and A Dance to the Music of Time, featuring actors including Joss Ackland, Judi Dench and Kenneth Branagh. External links
