Together with the filasterea, the Choanoflagellatea they are the stem groups to the animals.[3] DescriptionThis organism produces rough, pink, raised colonies on BK{{clarify|date=December 2017}} medium. The vegetative cells are unicellular. Reproduction is by binary divisions The amoeboid spores are limax shaped.
