Its seat is the town of Nowe Warpno, which lies approximately {{convert|29|km|mi|0}} north-west of Police and {{convert|40|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-west of the regional capital Szczecin. The gmina covers an area of {{convert|197.07|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2006 its total population is 1,534 (out of which the population of Nowe Warpno amounts to 1,170, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 364). VillagesApart from the town of Nowe Warpno, Gmina Nowe Warpno contains the villages and settlements of Brzózki, Maszkowo, Mszczuje, Myślibórz Mały, Myślibórz Wielki, Popielewo, Trzebieradz and Warnołęka.
