}}{{Nihongo|Kasahata Station|笠幡駅|Kasahata-eki}} is a railway station on the Kawagoe Line in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).[1]

Lines

Kasahata Station is served by the Kawagoe Line between {{STN|Kawagoe}} and {{STN|Komagawa}}, and is located 7.7 km from Kawagoe.[2] Services operate every 20 minutes during the daytime, with some services continuing to and from {{STN|Hachiōji}} on the Hachikō Line.[3]

Station layout

The station has one side platform serving a single bidirectional track. The station building is adjacent to the south side of the track.[2]

The station opened on 22 July 1940.[1]

Passenger statistics

In fiscal 2014, the station was used by an average of 2,997 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[4]
