Dome Glacier flows generally west for a distance of approximately {{convert|.80|mi|abbr=on}}, maintaining a generally shallow gradient between {{convert|8600|to|7600|ft|abbr=on}} at which point it descends in a large icefall to approximately {{convert|6900|ft|abbr=on}}.
