The whole Act, except sections 39, 40, 53 to 70 and 92 and the Schedules, was repealed by section 1(1) of, and Part IV of Schedule 1 to, the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1978. Section 92In this section, the definitions of "Oath" and "Conventionary Tenant" were repealed by section 1(1) of, and Part IV of Schedule 1 to, the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1978. References1. ^The citation of this Act by this short title was authorised by section 5 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1948.
