He received further degrees degree from the Atlanta University, Georgia, Wharton School of Finance, US.[2]CareerEkukinam was Director of research at CBN from 1966-1972, late vice-chairman and chairman of the social economic council to the governor of south eastern state[3]. Ekukinam was appoimted the Minister of Finance replacing James Oluleye (1976-1977).
