The Crookston Pirates were a minor league baseball franchise in Crookston, Minnesota. Crookston was a charter member of the Northern League in 1902, playing as the Crookston Crooks before disbanding in 1906. [1] Later, the Pirates played in the Northern League from 1933 to 1941 and were affiliates of the Chicago White Sox (1936), St. Louis Cardinals (1937) and the Boston Red Sox (1938). [2]
