}}Make Up Institute Stockholm is a Sweden make-up academy for students from Germany, Finland, China, France, India, Italy and other countries ^[2]. It was founded by Shaul Moalem in 1997^[3]. The academy develops and integrates professional courses such as Master Makeup Artists, Hairstylists and Makeup Artist Instructors.

History

The courses in Make Up Institute are approved by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education and the International Union for Make Up Artist and Hair Stylish Education ^[4]. Students have practice on such competition as Miss Universe, Miss Africa, Nordic Body Painting Championship, Miss Sweden and Miss Queen of Scandinavia ^[5].

Portfolio of Students

Students work with professional photographers and after that they take final exams during the courses. The aim of the exam is to perform 5 different looks, including hairstyling, styling, and makeup. The portfolio of students and the international Master certificates demonstrate high standards of work and assist them in different industries ^[6]. Many students work in the fashion shows and TV studios worldwide to perform day, evening, party professional makeup ^[7].

Make Up Institute prepares students for the tough demands of clients in any industry. The students took part in professional events such as Miss Queen of Scandinavia, Stockholm in 2018.The students practiced the makeup skills and styled all the participants on the final day ^[8].

Also, Make Up Institute's artists have makeup and styled popular Hollywood's stars, for example an art director and producers of ”Ralph breaks the internet” for Walt Disney press conference in the Stockholm Grand hotel ^[9].
