释义 |
The Beaulieu Mine was a post-World War II gold mining operation near Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. It entered production in October 1947 but by the end of November only 7 troy ounces (220 g) of rough gold were recovered. Additional gold was recovered during 1948 but altogether the mine recovered only 30 troy ounces (930 g) of fine gold. The operation folded in chaos and bankruptcy.[1] References1. ^{{cite web | title = The History of Mining in the Northwest Territories | work = Minerals, Oil and Gas, History of Exploration and Development | publisher = Government of the Northwest Territories: Industry, Tourism and Investment | url = http://www.iti.gov.nt.ca/miningoilgas/historyexploration.shtml#history | accessdate = 2013-09-27|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20131115081538/http://www.iti.gov.nt.ca/miningoilgas/historyexploration.shtml|archivedate=2013-11-15}} External links
