EstablishmentPaglaum was established as the pioneer local political party in Negros Occidental by the late former Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Montelibano, Jr. in 1988 for his political run.[1] Despite the similarity in names, Bukidnon Paglaum Party is not related to the Negros Occidental Paglaum Party. Recent participationReactivated as a local party on December 14, 2015, Paglaum participated in the Bacolod local elections, 2016 under the Grupo Progreso Coalition of Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
