He is a member of Indian National Congress and represents Palakkad constituency.[1] Political careerHe started his political life as a member of K.S.U, the student's wing of Indian National Congress. While in college, he was the unit office bearer of K.S.U. and the chairman of college union. In 2009, he was the state president of K.S.U. He was elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2011 and 2016. In 2017 he was elected into General Secretary Indian youth congress. Personal lifeHe is the son of Shanavas and Maimoona.
