Bokar and Eight O'Clock coffee were sold by A&P in 2003. Eight O'Clock's Bokar blend is described on their website as follows: "A select blend of 100% Arabica coffee beans, named for two famous coffee-producing areas in Colombia: Bogota and Cartagena. When ground extra fine, makes a spectacular espresso. Eight O'Clock discontinued the Bokar Blend in 2012 after 93 years in production." [1] In 1979, A&P licensed its brands division, Compass Foods, Inc., to sell Eight O'Clock, Bokar and Red Circle coffee to other retailers including competing supermarket chains. In 2005 Tata Global Beverages took over ownership of Eight O'Clock Coffee Company as well as the Bokar coffee brand. The brand itself no longer exists. Bokar Coffee was discontinued in 2012.[2] References{{portal|Coffee}}1. ^http://www.eightoclock.com/ 2. ^https://www.facebook.com/EightOClockCoffee/posts/10151163437633748 External links
