Outside ScandinaviaIn Chicago, a local producer makes a bitter brännvin (beskbrännvin), called Jeppson's Malört.[4] "Malört" ("ma-laert") is the Swedish word for the plant Artemisia absinthium, wormwood, often used as an ingredient in absinthe.
