He attended Judson High School in Converse, Texas; upon graduating in 2009, he played football at Baylor University. During his time at Baylor, McAllister recorded a total of 15.0 sacks; this left him tied for the record of most career sacks in Baylor history. He led the team in sacks in 2012 and 2013 (with 6.0 and 6.5, respectively).[1] McAllister went undrafted in 2014. He eventually earned a tryout with the Houston Texans of the NFL, but failed to make the team.[2] He was assigned to the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League on July 30, 2015.[3] He recorded statistics in exactly one game for the SaberCats; there, he assisted on a sack in the team's regular season finale against the Los Angeles Kiss. McAllister finished the season on the team's Injured Reserve list; despite this, he won his first AFL Championship when the SaberCats defeated the Jacksonville Sharks in ArenaBowl XXVIII. On December 4, 2015, McAllister was assigned to the Arizona Rattlers.[4] McAllister re-signed with Rattlers on November 21, 2016. McAllister was released on January 30, 2017, but was re-signed on February 9, 2017. McAllister was named First Team All-Indoor Football League in 2017.[5] On July 8, the Rattlers defeated the Sioux Falls Storm in the United Bowl by a score of 50–41.[6] He re-signed with the Rattlers on August 28, 2017.[7] References1. ^{{cite web |title=Baylor Athletics:Chris McAllister |url=http://www.baylorbears.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/chris_mcallister_437867.html |accessdate=September 7, 2015}} 2. ^{{cite web |title=Houston Texans Cut Brandon Harris; Two Others |url=http://houseofhouston.com/2014/08/30/houston-texans-cut-brandon-harris-two-others/ |date=August 29, 2014 |publisher=Fansided.com |work=www.fansided.com |accessdate=September 7, 2015}} 3. ^{{cite web |title=SaberCats Add Former Baylor Standout |url=http://www.arenafootball.com/sports/a-footbl/spec-rel/073015aab.html |date=July 30, 2015 |publisher=Arena Football League |accessdate=September 7, 2015}} 4. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=5076893 |title=Rattlers Acquire OL Hicks, DE McAllister |date=December 4, 2015 |publisher=OurSports Central |work=www.oursportscentral.com |accessdate=December 7, 2015}} 5. ^{{cite web |url=http://goifl.com/sports/fball/2016-17/releases/20170628k60rfh |title=IFL Announces 2017 All-IFL Teams |date=June 28, 2017 |publisher=Indoor Football League |work=www.goifl.com |accessdate=June 29, 2017}} 6. ^{{cite web | url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170821012547/http://arizonasports.com/story/1170633/rattlers-sioux-falls-championship-ifl-united-bowl/ | title=Rattlers survive rally from Sioux Falls to capture IFL United Bowl title | publisher=arizonasports.com | date=July 8, 2017 | accessdate=August 20, 2017 | author=Marotta, Vince}} 7. ^{{cite web | url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180326211245/http://goifl.com/transactions/2016-17/August_2017 | title=Transactions | publisher=goifl.com | accessdate=March 26, 2018}} External links
