It was originally a Juvenile record—I still have it saved as “Juvenile.”I had Tip do the hook. But Juve didn’t like the record. He was like, “It’s too loud.” I told him this is gonna be a big record. Tip was like, “Can I have it?” It was like he was counting on Juve not to like the record.He did all three verses, full-on. He already knew what he was gonna do, he had it memorized.
