The municipality is unilingually Finnish and has a population of {{formatnum: {{Infobox Finnish municipality/population count|Hollola}}}} ({{#time: j F Y|{{Infobox Finnish Municipality/population count|sourcedate}} }}) and covers an area of {{convert|{{Infobox Finnish municipality/total area|Hollola}}|km2}} of which {{convert|{{Infobox Finnish municipality/waters area|Hollola}}|km2|abbr=on}} is water. The population density is {{convert|{{Infobox Finnish municipality/population density|Hollola|round=2}}|PD/km2}}.Hollola has the tallest structure in Finland, the Tiirismaa TV-Tower. A popular resort in Hollola is Messilä. There you can do cross-country-skiing, downhill skiing, tramping and play golf. There is a hotel and a camping site in Messilä. Messilä is located by Vesijärvi. In 2018, Hollola hosted the Jukola Relays.[1] This Orienteering event is a night relay, and one of the most popular orienteering events in the world by number of competitors.
