Julian B. Garrett (born November 7, 1940) is an American lawyer and politician.

Background

Garrett served as the Iowa State Representative from the 13th District.[1] A Republican, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2011 until 2013. He currently is a member of the Iowa Senate. In November 2013, Garrett was elected to the Iowa State Senate in a special election and was re-elected in November 2014.[2] Garrett was born in Des Moines, Iowa and resides in Indianola. He has a B.A. from Central College and a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
