It was designed by Adolph Cudell. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.[1] The state of Wisconsin owns the property and leases it to the Black Point Historic Preserve, a nonprofit organization which manages the property for public tours, which began in June 2007.[3] The estate and its grounds, including 620 feet of shoreline, are protected from future development by a conservation easement co-held by the Geneva Lake Conservancy, a local not-for-profit conservation organization,[4] and the Preserve.[5] References1. ^1 2 {{NRISref|2009a}} 2. ^Lake Geneva website re mansions {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101217101311/http://www.lakegenevawi.com/Discovery/Mansions.aspx |date=December 17, 2010 }} 3. ^Lake Geneva tour website {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20070325153645/http://www.cruiselakegeneva.com/bptours.php |date=March 25, 2007 }} 4. ^Geneva Lake Conservancy website 5. ^Geneva Lake Conservancy news release, September 26, 2005 {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20060928134027/http://www.genevalakeconservancy.org/newsblackpoint.htm |date=September 28, 2006 }} External links
