Bluestone is a global tech company specialized in product information management.

History

Bluestone.^[1] company was created in October 2015 in Tønsberg, Norway.

In May 2018 Bluestone merged with WebOn, a Nordic IT company specialized in providing software for e-commerce and omnichannel management.

Starting from 2019, Bluestone launched a global partnership program with consultancy companies and has partners in several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia.

Technology

Bluestone^[2] develops the software Bluestone PIM^[3] which is a SaaS-based product information management platform with features for sharing, collaborating on, and centrally managing product-related data.

Since the first release in 2016, Bluestone PIM has followed a strict API driven approach, by offering RESTful APIs and microservices for integrations to 3rd party systems and applications^[4]

Products

Bluestone PIM platform contains various modules such as product information management (PIM), web content management (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) and customer experience management.

The core of Bluestone PIM is extensible through extensions for e-commerce platforms like Magento and online marketplaces like Amazon.
