Court St. in Opelousas, Louisiana, was built in 1927. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.[1] It is described as a "large two story frame residence built in a distinctly southern version of the Colonial Revival style." It was designed by architect Herman Duncan and built by Homer Ventre.[3] The listing included a second contributing building: a carriage house which is older than the main house, built around 1915.[2] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2013a}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Dubuisson, Edward Benjamin, House}}{{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Louisiana-NRHP-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=97000059}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Registration: Edward Benjamin Dubuisson House |publisher=National Park Service|author=National Register Staff, Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation |date=November 1996 |accessdate=March 22, 2019}} With {{NRHP url|id=97000059|photos=y|title=accompanying 17 photos from 1996}} 3 : National Register of Historic Places in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana|Colonial Revival architecture in Louisiana|Buildings and structures completed in 1927 |
