释义 |
Sand skiing (occasionally sand-skiing) is a sport and form of skiing in which the skier rides down a sand dune on skis, using ski poles, as done with other types of skiing, which is practised on either snow, dry ski slopes, or roller skis. It has origins mainly in Namibia, where boardsport sandboarding can also be practised. Henrik May, a German living in Namibia for some 10 years, set a Guinness World Record in speed sand-skiing on 6 June 2010. He reached a speed of 92.12 km/h.[1][2] It is also widespread in Peru, where sandboarding is also present. In 2018, the Fayoum University held a sand skiing event in Fayoum with students from around Egypt joining in on the fun.[3] References1. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/fastest-sand-skiing|title=Fastest sand skiing|work=Guinness World Records|access-date=2018-03-26|language=en-GB}} 2. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.namibian.com.na/print.php?id=73330&type=2|title=The Namibian|website=www.namibian.com.na|language=en|access-date=2018-03-26}} 3. ^{{cite news |last1=Abdullah |first1=Michelle |title=بمشاركة 720 طالبا.. مهرجان للتزحلق على الرمال للجامعات في الفيوم |url=https://www.elwatannews.com/news/details/3851832 |accessdate=11 December 2018 |work=El Watan News |date=8 December 2018 |language=Arabic}} External links
