It is native to Wheatbelt, Great Southern and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia.[1] The low spreading to erect multi-branched shrub typically grows to a height of {{convert|0.2|to|2.5|m|ft|0}}. It flowers from March to October producing yellow flowers.
